"KÁ" at the MGM Grand - This creation from Cirque du Soleil combines acrobatic performances, martial arts, pupperty, multimedia and pyrotechnics to illustrate the nature of duality. KÁ tells the story of separated twins who embark on a perilous journey to fulfill their linked destinies. The show's title is inspired by the ancient Egyptian belief in the "ka" an invisible spiritual duplicate of the body which accompanies every human being throughout this life and into the next. The Asian influence of the costumes, the soaring melodies of the original score, the advanced technical effects and the symbolic use of fire makes this a Cirque du Soleil show of new dimensions and soul.
